At the Hunnypot, we are fortunate enough to have a separate sensory room, to which all children have access.
We encourage investigation of everyday objects, through heuristic play where children can touch, feel, smell, hear and see, encouraging them to find out about our world, safely. strengthening their cognitive development as well as fine muscle control and hand/eye coordination.
Even in the sensory room, children have access to books to promote developing an inquisitive mind.
No more than 4 children at a time access this room with 1-2 adults giving them more chance to gain individual attention.
