About Roo's Room
Roo’s Room offers a wide variety of activities throughout the day to encourage all-round and consistent development in every child. These include sensory and tactile play including messy play, painting and activity toys. We believe that a continuous steady routine that reflects a home life is beneficial; therefore we encourage parents to advise us of any changes to your child’s sleep patterns, daily routine and any significant changes in development. This will aid the transition between home and nursery life as smooth as possible for you, the staff, but most importantly for your child.
The Roo’s Room has a friendly feel to it. It allows children to explore and learn confidently under close supervision where everything is at a low level and easily accessible to every child.
Roo’s Room is designed with babies in mind. Half is carpeted for when babies need a soft, cosy comfortable area. The other half of the room is for when it is messy playtime. There are also tables and chairs and high chairs for when the older babies are learning to sit and eat.
There is also a dedicated and secluded nappy changing area. All babies also have a dedicated area where they can play outdoors and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
The ratio in this room is 1 adult to 3 babies. Our adult/child ratio enables all babies to get more personal attention.

“My son has been attending Hunnypot for 2 years and absolutely loves it. My daughter has just started as well, and enjoy some it so much that she got upset when I picked her up from school because I wasn’t Hunnypot! The staff are great and are very reliable and good with communication. They like to work with parents to get the right care for the children and have great facilities. I would recommend them every time.”
